Job Description

Key Qualifications:

  • Active Maryland SLP license with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
  • Experience providing speech and language services in school settings, preferably at the elementary level
  • Strong understanding of IEP development, progress monitoring, and report writing
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Compassion and enthusiasm for working with diverse student populations

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and indirect speech-language therapy services to elementary-aged students
  • Assess, diagnose, and document communication disorders according to state and federal guidelines
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to the development and implementation of IEPs
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of service delivery and student progress
  • Consult with teachers, staff, and families to support students educational goals
  • Provide recommendations for classroom modifications and strategies to promote communication success
