Qualifications:

  • Valid California Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome
  • Experience in school-based, pediatric, or teletherapy settings desirable
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations
  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for K-5 students
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique needs
  • Provide direct therapyas well as support and consultationto students and educational staff
  • Maintain timely and accurate documentation of progress, interventions, and assessments
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to maximize student success
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise in speech-language development
  • Adapt therapy techniques to suit virtual or in-person learning environments
