A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist position is available at an elementary school serving grades K-5 in Westland, MI. This role involves providing in-person speech therapy services to support students communication needs, contributing to their academic and social development. The contract runs through the remainder of the school year and offers a comprehensive benefits package. Part-time applicants will also be considered for this opportunity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide individualized speech and language therapy to students in grades K-5
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other support staff to develop and implement effective treatment plans
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
- Participate in meetings and contribute to student Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Foster a positive learning environment that supports student growth and engagement
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist licensure or certification appropriate for the state of Michigan
- Experience working within elementary school settings preferred
