This contract position focuses on serving grades K-5 in a vibrant, collaborative school environment near Westland, MI. The role is primarily full-time at 37.5 hours per week, but applications from part-time candidates are also welcomed. Qualifications and Experience:

• Current licensure or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Michigan
• Experience working with elementary school students (grades K-5)
• Solid knowledge of speech, language, and communication development
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with students, staff, and families
• Ability to tailor intervention plans to meet a wide range of student needs
• Previous experience in a school setting is strongly preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and parents
• Provide direct therapy to students in both individual and small group settings
• Document progress and maintain up-to-date records in compliance with school policies
• Participate in parent meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
• Offer support and resources to teachers and families to promote student success
