Desired Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current SLP licensure in Michigan (or eligibility to obtain)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong Clinical Fellows will be considered
- School-based experience or an understanding of IEP development and documentation practices
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal abilities
- A passion for working with children and school-aged populations
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and hearing screenings and comprehensive evaluations
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs
- Collaborate with educators, staff, and families to support student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary discussions
- Maintain detailed records of services, assessments, and student progress
- Support students both in traditional classroom settings and through pull-out services as needed
- Provide consultation and resources to staff and caregivers to reinforce strategies outside therapy sessions
