Step into a vital onsite role as a Bilingual Speech Language Pathologist supporting K-12 students for the 2026/2027 school year. This full-time contract position focuses on bringing comprehensive communication services to a diverse student population while collaborating closely with faculty and families. You'll use your expertise to assess, diagnose, and implement evidence-based interventions, all in a supportive and inclusive educational environment.
Qualifications:
- Active Massachusetts Speech Language Pathologist license (submit a screenshot of licensure)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) preferred
- Previous experience delivering SLP services in a school setting
- Bilingual in English and Spanish required
- Ability to pass a drug screening and background/fingerprinting (CORI) check
- Reliable transportation to and from the worksite
- Professional punctuality, with prompt communication regarding absences
Responsibilities:
- Provide onsite speech and language therapy to students with a variety of needs
- Evaluate students, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and maintain accurate documentation
- Work collaboratively with teachers, administrators, and other specialists to support student achievement
- Conduct screenings and participate in special education meetings as needed
- Engage parents and caregivers in the therapy process and provide resources for home use
- Attend scheduled meetings and professional development sessions
