Make an impact supporting high school students with Autism Spectrum Disorders and diverse learning needs in a collaborative, specialized educational setting. This opportunity, located near Westfield, MA, is ideal for an SLP-CCC passionate about fostering independence and personalized growth in a nontraditional school environment. Serving the Compass High Program, you'll supervise an SLPA and contribute to a focused, supportive team.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology, with active State licensure and eligibility for CCC-SLP.
- Prior experience in a school settingespecially with high school students.
- Knowledge and commitment to best practices supporting learners with ASD or similar learning differences.
- Capability and readiness to supervise an SLPA.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaborative skills.
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy services aligned with IEP goals for high school students in the Compass High Program.
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and monitor progress.
- Provide supervision, guidance, and support for the assigned SLPA.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multi-disciplinary staff to promote student growth and independence.
- Document all services and maintain compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Offer personalized strategies that support students expressive, receptive, and social communication skills.
This contract position is for the 2026-2027 school year (anticipated August 27, 2026, through June 22, 2027), with a weekly commitment of 32.5 hours.
