Job Description

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current state licensure (or eligibility) to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • School-based experience strongly preferred
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and collaborative skills
  • Ability to manage diverse caseloads across different age groups
  • Proficiency with assessment tools and IEP documentation

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and consultative speech-language services to students across elementary, middle, and high school levels
  • Conduct initial evaluations, comprehensive assessments, and regular progress monitoring
  • Develop, implement, and adjust individualized education plans (IEPs) in partnership with teachers, families, and other specialists
  • Deliver evidence-based interventions for a range of communication and language challenges
  • Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school and state requirements
  • Engage in team meetings, professional development, and family communications to maximize student outcomes
