A specialized Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for the 2026/2027 school year in Ludlow, MA, supporting the Compass High Program at Ludlow High School. This program serves high school students with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and other learning differences in a personalized, supportive environment designed to promote independence and skill-building beyond traditional classroom settings. The position involves caseload management and supervision of a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA).

Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with current state licensure
• Experience working within school settings, preferably with high school-aged students
• Familiarity with specialized programs serving students with ASD or diverse learning needs
• Ability to supervise and collaborate with an SLPA
• Strong communication and organizational skills to manage a caseload effectively

Location and Schedule:

• Assignment Location: Ludlow, MA
• Clients main office is in West Springfield, MA, but this role requires travel to Ludlow
• Part-time schedule of 32.5 hours per week
• School year duration approximately from August 27, 2026, to June 22, 2027 (dates subject to final calendar release)

Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized speech and language therapy services to high school students
• Collaborate with educational staff and families to develop and implement IEPs
• Supervise and support the SLPA in clinical duties and documentation
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to program goals focused on fostering student independence
