Job Description

Seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to make a meaningful impact in a school-based setting near West Springfield, MA. This contract opportunity offers flexibility, allowing you to choose between full-time or part-time hours while working with K-12 students. Qualifications & Experience:

  • Current Massachusetts SLP license (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Prior experience working with K-12 students preferred
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, parents, and educators

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments, develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Provide direct therapy to students with varying speech and language needs
  • Maintain detailed records and progress notes in compliance with school and state requirements
  • Consult with teachers and families to support students communication goals
  • Participate in IEP meetings, providing expertise in the area of speech and language pathology
  • Adapt and modify materials to meet diverse student needs
