Step into a dynamic school-based environment as a Speech-Language Pathologist supporting students across K-12 in Massachusetts. A contract position is available for passionate and dedicated SLPsfull-time or part-timeoffering the opportunity to make an immediate impact on students communication abilities and academic success.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology license issued by the state of Massachusetts
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Previous experience working with K-12 students preferred
- Strong ability to collaborate with educators, parents, and other specialists
- Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Current knowledge of assessment tools, IEP processes, and therapy interventions
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students across elementary, middle, and high school levels
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Provide direct therapy services and use evidence-based intervention strategies
- Prepare progress reports and maintain accurate documentation
- Consult regularly with teachers, special education staff, and families to foster student growth
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute expertise to support student needs
- Advocate for students communication goals in the school setting
