Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid licensure as an SLP in California
  • Experience or familiarity working in a school environment preferred
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational abilities
  • Ability to develop tailored treatment plans and collaborate with teachers, staff, and families
  • Comfort with diverse caseloads and flexibility in adapting strategies to student needs

Position Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) targeting speech and language goals
  • Provide direct therapy and support, both one-on-one and in small groups
  • Consult and collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to maximize student success
  • Document and monitor student progress, updating goals and recommendations as needed
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team decisions
