Job Description

A rewarding opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide essential services to K-12 students in a school setting. This full-time contract role is based in West Point, GA, serving the educational needs of children and adolescents with speech and language challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students from kindergarten through 12th grade.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with state and federal guidelines.
  • Participate in meetings and contribute to the development of school-based interventions.

Qualifications:

  • Hold a current Georgia Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) License.
  • Experience working in school settings preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage caseloads effectively and provide tailored support to diverse learners.
  • Credentials such as SLP - CCC and SLP - School certifications are valuable.

Work Schedule and Location:

  • 37.5 hours per week, five days a week.
  • Position located in West Point, Georgia, serving students in the surrounding area.
