Qualifications

  • Active Florida Speech-Language Pathologist license (Dept. of Health)
  • Minimum SLP-CCC credentials (no SLPA or CF accepted for this role)
  • Must complete Florida district background/fingerprint clearance
  • Adaptability to multiple school locations and student populations
  • Professional, collaborative approach in school-based environments

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality, onsite speech and language services to elementary through secondary age groups, Monday-Thursday in assigned schools
  • Contribute to students IEP goals and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
  • Document progress promptly and maintain thorough records per district guidelines
  • Engage in eligibility interviews and school orientation as required
