Qualifications and Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure and ASHA CCCs (or eligibility to obtain certification)
- Demonstrated experience in a school setting preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Knowledge of IEP procedures and Medicaid billing is a plus
- Organizational skills and a strong sense of advocacy for students
Core Responsibilities:
- Assess and identify students with speech, language, or communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals
- Provide direct therapy services, both individual and group, according to student requirements
- Consult with teachers and families to support classroom communication strategies
- Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and participate in IEP meetings
