Ideal qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Florida
- Previous experience working with school-aged children is highly desirable
- Strong assessment, diagnostic, and intervention skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, families, and other professionals
- Exceptional organizational and communication abilities
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each students unique needs
- Provide direct therapeutic services in individual and small group settings
- Participate actively in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to IEP development
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of sessions, progress, and evaluations
- Offer guidance and resources to educators and family members to support student progress
