Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited university
- Active Florida SLP license or eligibility for licensure
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; strong Clinical Fellows considered
- Previous school-based or pediatric experience is highly desirable
- Exceptional communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage a varied caseload and collaborate within multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech, language, voice, or fluency disorders
- Deliver engaging therapy sessionsboth individual and groupaddressing student-specific IEP goals
- Document progress, maintain accurate records, and communicate findings effectively to families and educational staff
- Attend and contribute to IEP meetings, parent conferences, and staff consultations as needed
- Foster supportive, inclusive classroom environments that enhance students communication skills and self-confidence
- Stay current with best practices and continuing professional education in the field of speech-language pathology
