Key Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current and valid state licensure as an SLP (or eligibility to obtain before start date)
- Competency in assessment, developing IEPs, and providing direct therapy in school environments
- Familiarity with a variety of communication disorders and AAC devices preferred
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Experience working with diverse student populations is a plus
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and screenings to identify students with speech and language needs
- Develop, implement, and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy to students, both individually and in groups
- Maintain detailed documentation and progress reports according to school district policies
- Consult with teachers, support staff, and families to support student success
- Participate in IEP meetings, professional development, and other school events as appropriate
