This full-time position is designed for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist passionate about supporting early elementary students while fostering the professional growth of colleagues. Youll serve across multiple school sites in the West Hartford area, guiding both a clinical fellow (CF) and a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA). Qualifications & Experience:
- Current CT SLP license with ASHA CCC required
- Sufficient professional experience to supervise both a CF and SLPA
- Previous work within a school-based or pediatric setting strongly preferred
- Solid collaborative and communication abilities
- Proven capability to manage diverse caseloads and multitask effectively
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Deliver comprehensive speech and language therapy to K-2nd grade students
- Supervise, support, and provide feedback for both a CF and a SLPA
- Develop, implement, and adapt individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation and progress notes
- Engage in multidisciplinary collaboration with teachers, administrators, and families to maximize student growth
