Job Description

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Active state licensure as an SLP (or eligibility for licensure in SC)
  • Previous school-based SLP experience preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to adapt therapy approaches to meet students diverse needs

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging, evidence-based speech, language, and communication therapy to school-aged students
  • Complete assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and monitor student progress
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to ensure comprehensive support
  • Document services and maintain accurate records per school and federal requirements
  • Participate in team meetings and professional development as required
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive educational environment
