Job Description

Make an impact as a Speech-Language Pathologist supporting school-aged children across several vibrant communities in the West Chester, PA area. This contract opportunity offers schedule flexibility and the chance to work with diverse caseloads, including an Autistic support classroom as well as itinerant students across multiple locations.

Youll enjoy a collaborative environment while helping students achieve communication milestones and build essential skills for life. Assignments are available in locations including Aston, Media, Brookhaven, Glen Mills, Chaddsford, Upper Darby, Yeadon, Darby, Clifton Heights, Ridley, Broomall, Lansdowne, Bryn Mawr, Rosemont, and Wayne. Full-time and part-time schedules (minimum two days per week) are available to fit your preferences.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
  • Current PDE Certification for Pennsylvania school-based practice
  • Experience supporting school-aged children, including those on the autism spectrum, preferred
  • Strong communication and organization skills
  • Ability to start promptly

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language therapy to students in classroom and itinerant settings
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with special education staff, general educators, and families
  • Maintain required documentation and progress reports
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
