Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences
- Active SLP license in the state of Florida
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred (CFs considered)
- Previous experience working in school settings or with pediatric populations
- Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Familiarity with IEPs, progress monitoring, and therapy documentation
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to determine students speech and language needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address communication goals
- Provide direct and consultative therapy services to students in group and one-on-one settings
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists
- Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and required documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations
- Offer support and training to school staff to foster communication-rich classrooms
