Qualifications & Skills:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
• Current FL SLP license (or eligibility to obtain)
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status accepted
• Previous experience working with school-aged children is preferred
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
• Familiarity with IEP process and relevant documentation

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech, language, and communication therapy to students in group and individual settings
• Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations to determine student needs
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and goals
• Maintain accurate and timely progress notes, reports, and documentation in accordance with school policies
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff
• Offer consultative services to classroom teachers for integrating communication strategies
• Stay up to date with best practices, compliance standards, and new research in the field
