Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid AZ Speech Language Pathologist License (SLP)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) required
- AZ Educator Certificate
- Possession of a current IVP Fingerprint Card
- Previous experience in a school setting working with PreK-8th grade strongly preferred
- Strong interpersonal, organization, and problem-solving skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide onsite speech and language assessment, intervention, and therapy services to students spanning PreK through 8th grade
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans targeting expressive, receptive, and pragmatic language skills
- Collaborate closely with teachers, special education staff, and families to promote student success
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of educational goals
- Maintain up-to-date student records, progress notes, and required documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
- Integrate evidence-based practices to ensure high-quality, effective therapy
