Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid AZ Speech Language Pathologist License (SLP)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) required
  • AZ Educator Certificate
  • Possession of a current IVP Fingerprint Card
  • Previous experience in a school setting working with PreK-8th grade strongly preferred
  • Strong interpersonal, organization, and problem-solving skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide onsite speech and language assessment, intervention, and therapy services to students spanning PreK through 8th grade
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans targeting expressive, receptive, and pragmatic language skills
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, special education staff, and families to promote student success
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of educational goals
  • Maintain up-to-date student records, progress notes, and required documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
  • Integrate evidence-based practices to ensure high-quality, effective therapy
