Key Qualifications & Experience:

  • Active and valid New York State SLP license, along with TSSLD Certification
  • Masters degree from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
  • School-based SLP experience preferred
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  • Commitment to supporting young learners and collaborating with educators, families, and administrators

What Youll Do:

  • Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to a 3rd5th grade caseload
  • Conduct thorough assessments, creating and implementing individualized treatment plans
  • Document student progress and collaborate on Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Consult with teachers and staff to integrate communication strategies into the classroom
  • Serve as a resource for families, offering strategies to reinforce positive speech development at home
  • Uphold documentation and confidentiality standards in compliance with legal and ethical guidelines
