Job Description
A rewarding opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students in a school setting located in Waynesville, NC. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments to identify student needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results
- Provide direct therapy services to students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students communication goals
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school policy and state regulations
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of inclusive strategies
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid state license or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience working in a school setting preferred
- Strong knowledge of speech and language development and disorders in children
