Key Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current state license or eligibility for licensure as an SLP
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong clinical fellows are encouraged to apply
  • Prior experience in a school setting is highly valued
  • Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students specific needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other support staff to ensure successful integration of therapy goals
  • Maintain clear and accurate records of student progress and prepare required reports
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to student support teams
  • Provide consultation and training to school staff as needed
