The position is based in the Western Region, covering the Hornell and Bath, NY area.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Active New York Speech-Language Pathologist (NY SLP) license
- Valid Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities (TSSLD) certification
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- School-based experience and a passion for working with PreK and elementary populations
- Ability to work onsite and travel within the Hornell and Bath communities as needed
- Strong documentation and communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy to PreK and elementary students in accordance with IEP goals
- Conduct assessments, maintain progress notes, and participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings
- Collaborate with educators, staff, and families to create supportive, individualized interventions
- Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations and district policies
- Participate in professional development and ongoing training
