Core Qualifications & Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state license (or eligibility) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or CFY considered
- Previous experience in pediatric or school settings preferred
- Strong assessment, diagnostic, and intervention skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and guardians
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and set therapy goals in collaboration with student teams
- Deliver direct therapy services individually and in groups
- Collaborate with educators and families to facilitate classroom strategies and speech-language support
- Maintain accurate case notes, progress reports, and required documentation
- Contribute to multidisciplinary meetings and participate in team evaluations
- Stay current with best practices in pediatric therapy and school compliance procedures
