Step into the 2026-2027 school year as a Bilingual Speech Language Pathologist, making a genuine impact on the lives of K-12 students. In this full-time, onsite contract role, you'll collaborate closely with educators and families to support student communication skills and language development. Your expertise will encourage student progress, foster self-confidence, and create an inclusive learning environment.
Youll work with a diverse caseload spanning elementary to high school, providing assessments, direct therapy, and collaborative interventions tailored to meet each students unique needs. This is an exciting chance to utilize your bilingual fluency in English and Spanish, and to be a valued resource in a dynamic educational setting.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Hold an active Illinois Speech Language Pathologist License
- Possess a Professional Educator License (PEL)
- Fluent in both English and Spanish
- Experience serving K-12 students in a school setting is preferred
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and provide speech-language therapy services to students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to ensure comprehensive support
- Document progress and maintain accurate case records
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of educational strategies
