Job Description

This full-time Bilingual Speech Language Pathologist position offers an opportunity to serve a diverse K-12 student population in an onsite school setting in Waukegan, IL. The role is a contract position for the current school year, providing direct speech-language services to students from kindergarten through 12th grade.

Key responsibilities include assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech and language disorders in bilingual students. Providing culturally and linguistically appropriate interventions will be essential to support their communication skills across a variety of settings within the school. Collaboration with educators, families, and other professionals will help ensure comprehensive support tailored to individual student needs.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid Illinois Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license and Professional Educator License (PEL)
  • Fluency in both English and Spanish required to effectively serve bilingual students
  • Proven experience working with K-12 caseloads in school-based settings
  • Strong assessment, diagnostic, and treatment planning skills for speech and language disorders

Location and Schedule:

  • Waukegan, Illinois
  • Onsite position within a K-12 school environment
