Job Description

A K-12 therapeutic day school in Waukegan, IL, is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide specialized services for students, primarily those in autism and life skills classrooms. This contract position is open to clinical fellows and offers a caseload of approximately 20 students, working 30 hours per week. The contract covers the current school year, with extended summer school (ESY) and next school year guaranteed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech-language therapy tailored to students with autism and life skills needs.
  • Manage a caseload of around 20 students.
  • Collaborate with educators and support staff in a therapeutic day school environment.
  • Maintain documentation and progress reports in compliance with school policies.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Illinois Speech-Language Pathologist license.
  • Professional Educators License (PEL) for Illinois schools issued by ISBE.
  • Open to Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates.

Work Schedule:
