Job Description

An opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students in an elementary school setting, serving grades K-5 for the 2025-2026 school year. This full-time contract position requires commitment to providing specialized pediatric speech and language services within the school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address speech and language disorders.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and reporting in compliance with school policies.
  • Provide direct speech therapy services to students with diverse needs across grades K-5.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid Professional Educator License (PEL) with an SLP endorsement.
  • Experience working with pediatric populations, particularly in educational settings.
  • Familiarity with school-based speech-language pathology practices and documentation.
  • Ability to engage effectively with young learners and school personnel.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.

Location:

  • Elementary School setting located in Waukegan, Illinois.

Contract Details:

  • Full-time, 37.5 hours per week.
  • Contract duration aligned with the 2025-2026 school year.
