Job Description

A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide services in a school setting located in Watkins, CO. This position requires 32 hours per week with an immediate start through the end of the school year. The caseload primarily includes students in grades K-8.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Special Education Teacher to develop daily schedules, coordinate testing, and plan annual IEP meetings.
  • Provide updated speech and language caseload lists to ensure accurate maintenance of the master Special Education roster.
  • Deliver specially designed instruction tailored to each students individual communication needs through resource room, inclusion, or pullout services.
  • Work closely with staff and families to support student progress and ensure all IEP goals are met.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Active state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Experience working with at-risk or special education students is preferred.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.

Location: Watkins, Colorado
Work Schedule: Onsite, 32 hours per week
