Step into an engaging contract opportunity providing speech-language pathology services to elementary students across 2-3 schools in a supportive, close-knit district near Waterloo, SC. With a majority elementary caseload, your expertise will be valued as you help students achieve meaningful communication goals and collaborate with a strong special education team.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid South Carolina SLP-CCC licensure and teaching certification in hand
- Comfort working with pediatric populations in a school setting (CFY welcome)
- Experience or interest in assessment, evaluation, and developing individualized treatment plans
- Ability to manage a caseload primarily comprised of elementary-aged students
- Strong communication and organizational skills for collaboration and IEP participation
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech/language assessments and complete evaluations for students
- Develop and implement treatment plans with both short- and long-term goals
- Deliver direct therapy services to meet a range of student needs
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to interdisciplinary planning
- Communicate progress with families, teachers, and support staff
- Travel to 2-3 schools as assigned, with majority time spent supporting elementary students
