Job Description

With a majority elementary caseload, your expertise will be valued as you help students achieve meaningful communication goals and collaborate with a strong special education team.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid South Carolina SLP-CCC licensure and teaching certification in hand
  • Comfort working with pediatric populations in a school setting (CFY welcome)
  • Experience or interest in assessment, evaluation, and developing individualized treatment plans
  • Ability to manage a caseload primarily comprised of elementary-aged students
  • Strong communication and organizational skills for collaboration and IEP participation

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech/language assessments and complete evaluations for students
  • Develop and implement treatment plans with both short- and long-term goals
  • Deliver direct therapy services to meet a range of student needs
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to interdisciplinary planning
  • Communicate progress with families, teachers, and support staff
  • Travel to 2-3 schools as assigned, with majority time spent supporting elementary students
