This long-term contract opportunity allows you to work alongside educators, students, and families within a dynamic K-12 school environment. With a caseload ranging from mild to severe disabilities, you'll make a tangible difference for children with Autism, cognitive delays, emotional disturbance, Down Syndrome, and other communication needs.

Your background as an SLP with CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence)along with experience in school-based or teletherapy settingswill be highly valued in this supportive role. Bring your compassion and clinical skills to a collaborative team focused on student success.

Qualifications and Experience Sought:

• Valid New York State Speech-Language Pathologist license
• Current TSSLD (Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities) certification
• ASHA CCC required
• Experience working with K-12 students, including those with significant disabilities
• Proficiency delivering therapy both in-person and via teletherapy platforms
• Strong organizational and communication abilities

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide speech-language therapy to students with diverse needs (grades K-12)
• Assess, develop, and implement IEP goals
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary staff and families for optimal student outcomes
• Consult and support classroom teachers with strategies for language and communication
• Maintain accurate records and documentation
• Utilize evidence-based techniques and current technology for therapy delivery
