This in-person, contract position is based near Waterford, MI, and continues through the remainder of the school year. Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid SLP license for the state
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or CF-supervision eligible
- Experience in elementary school settings, particularly with K-5 students, strongly preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, teachers, and families
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
Responsibilities:
- Assess and identify students speech, language, and communication needs within elementary grade levels
- Develop and deliver individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student goals
- Provide ongoing direct therapy for students, both in individual and group settings
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and parents to support student progress
- Maintain accurate records, track interventions, and complete required documentation in a timely manner
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings to review and update student progress throughout the school year
