Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Valid ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellow (CF) status
  • Current state licensure (or eligibility to obtain) for Speech-Language Pathology practice
  • Experience working with diverse school-age populations preferred
  • Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills
  • Ability to adapt therapy techniques for individual and group sessions

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language assessments, therapy, and intervention tailored to each students needs
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), collaborating with teachers, staff, and families
  • Track student progress and maintain accurate records per school guidelines
  • Consult with educators and parents to support language and communication goals within the classroom setting
  • Contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings, sharing insights to enhance student success
  • Stay current with best practices in school-based speech therapy through ongoing professional development
