Job Description

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active state licensure (or eligibility) as an SLP in Connecticut
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Experience working with pediatric and school-aged populations
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities
  • Familiarity with IEP processes and goal development

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language therapy services to students with varying needs, from articulation and fluency to language and social communication
  • Conduct assessments, interpret results, and participate in the development and review of IEPs
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate effectively with educators and families
  • Employ evidence-based interventions to maximize student outcomes
  • Provide consultation to classroom teachers and support staff to integrate strategies into everyday learning
  • Attend meetings, workshops, and professional development as required
