Job Description

A fantastic contract opportunity awaits a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist for the upcoming 26/27 school year. Working full-time, you'll support a diverse high school caseload of 50-60 students, with some responsibilities extending to out-of-district (OOD) and parochial settings. Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Valid Connecticut SLP license required
  • Open to SLPs with CCC or those seeking their CFY
  • Previous experience in school-based settings strongly preferred
  • Comfort working with high school-aged students
  • Ability to manage a caseload and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and provide evidence-based therapy for students with speech, language, or communication needs
  • Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
  • Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all state and federal guidelines
  • Deliver services in both school and out-of-district/parochial settings as needed
  • Participate in IEP meetings and other school-wide initiatives
