Preferred Qualifications:

  • Active Alaska Speech-Language Pathologist license (AK SLP)
  • Alaska DEED (teaching) certification
  • Experience in educational settings, working with students with mild to moderate disabilities
  • Ability to manage diverse caseloads across various ages and school sites
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language services to students with individualized needs in both elementary and high school settings
  • Develop and implement IEPs, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
  • Conduct evaluations and document student progress
  • Consult and support faculty, staff, and families to maximize student outcomes
  • Adapt therapy techniques to students unique abilities and goals
