Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

  • Current DC SLP license required
  • Clinical Competence Certificate (CCC) preferred; SLPs completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) are encouraged to apply
  • Previous experience with pediatric populations, especially within school or early intervention settings
  • Comfort using a range of therapeutic techniques, including both in-person and teletherapy modalities
  • Strong collaboration skills to consult with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Commitment to culturally responsive, individualized care

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy services to early intervention and elementary caseloads
  • Conduct screenings, assessments, and create therapy plans tailored to student needs
  • Document progress and maintain thorough records in accordance with school and regulatory standards
  • Work closely with educators and families to support language and communication goals in the classroom and at home
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute insights to support holistic student success
