This rewarding in-person opportunity runs through the remainder of the school year and is offered on a contract basis. While the role is full-time at 37.5 hours per week, part-time applicants will also be considered. Desired Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Current state SLP license and ASHA CCC or eligibility
- Experience working in elementary school settings, preferably grades K-5
- Knowledge of IEP processes, documentation, and progress monitoring
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt and collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary team
Responsibilities:
- Provide diagnostic assessments and screenings for students in grades K-5
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address speech and language goals
- Deliver therapy services one-on-one or in small groups, targeting articulation, fluency, receptive/expressive language, and social communication
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other school professionals to support student learning and participation
- Maintain timely documentation on student progress and service delivery in accordance with school and state guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to student support teams
