Engage in a rewarding role providing specialized speech-language pathology services within educational settings in Washington, DC. This position offers 20 hours per week of in-person service delivery and focuses on supporting early intervention and elementary-aged students. The role combines clinical expertise and compassionate care to promote effective communication skills among young learners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer speech and language assessments tailored to early intervention and elementary populations
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with educational goals
- Collaborate closely with educators, families, and healthcare professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all regulatory and licensing requirements
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology license in Washington, DC
- Experience working in school-based settings with a focus on pediatrics
- Familiarity with early intervention protocols and elementary school caseloads
- Ability to deliver services using teletherapy as needed
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred
- Credentialed Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) advantageous
Location & Schedule:
- Position is based in Washington, DC with a travel component to various local schools
- 20 hours per week of in-person service provision
