Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid state licensure to practice as an SLP (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Previous experience in a school setting highly valued
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport with students, staff, and families
  • Comfortable conducting assessments, developing IEP goals, and delivering a variety of speech and language services

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and consultative speech and language therapy services to students according to IEP requirements
  • Conduct assessments and use standardized tools to identify communication disorders
  • Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and parents to develop effective plans
  • Participate in IEP meetings, maintain accurate documentation, and monitor progress
