Job Description

Provide specialized speech-language pathology services in an educational setting, focusing on early intervention and elementary-aged students. Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech-language therapy to early intervention and elementary school students
  • Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and document progress
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to optimize student outcomes
  • Utilize teletherapy techniques as needed to complement in-person sessions
  • Maintain compliance with DC SLP licensure requirements and school policies

Qualifications:

  • Valid DC Speech-Language Pathologist licensure is required
  • Experience in pediatric speech-language pathology, specifically in early intervention and school settings
  • Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred but not mandatory
  • Comfort with teletherapy modalities is a plus
  • Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to work collaboratively

Location: Washington, DC (in-person)

Schedule: Part-time, approximately 20 hours per week, with flexibility to accommodate student needs
