Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current certificate of clinical competence (CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
  • California state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Previous experience in pediatric and/or school-based settings is highly valued
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and adapt to diverse student needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough speech, language, and communication evaluations for students
  • Develop and implement customized therapy goals and treatment plans
  • Deliver direct and consultative services to students with varying speech and language needs
  • Maintain ongoing documentation, progress reports, and communicate outcomes to teachers and families
  • Participate in IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings and contribute to student success plans
  • Offer mentorship to SLP interns or CFY candidates as needed
  • Stay current with best practices and advance professional development in the field
