Desired Experience and Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid state licensure (or eligibility for licensure) in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; strong Clinical Fellows (CFs) also considered
  • Demonstrated experience or interest in pediatric and school-based speech services
  • Excellent communication skills to engage with students, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Knowledge of IEP development and documentation practices
  • Compassionate, patient, and creative approach to therapy

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and consultative speech-language pathology services to students as outlined by Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Conduct thorough assessments, evaluations, and screenings for communication disorders
  • Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and other school support staff to maximize student outcomes
  • Maintain accurate and timely progress notes, reports, and documentation
  • Participate actively in IEP meetings and problem-solving teams
  • Develop and implement engaging, evidence-based interventions tailored to each students needs
