A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available to work in an elementary school setting serving students in grades K-5. This in-person position is based in Warren, MI, and offers a supportive work environment with benefits. The contract runs through the remainder of the current school year, providing a rewarding chance to make a positive impact on young learners communication development.
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language evaluations and individual/group therapy for students in grades K-5
- Collaborate with classroom teachers and support staff to implement effective intervention plans
- Monitor student progress and document treatment outcomes according to district guidelines
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) development
- Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations related to special education services
Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience working with elementary-aged children, preferably in a school setting
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Commitment to student growth and collaborative problem-solving
Schedule and Benefits:
- Full-time role at 37.5 hours per week; part-time applicants will be considered
