Job Description

Step into a dynamic role supporting elementary-aged students as a School Speech-Language Pathologist. This in-person, contract opportunity offers a fulfilling way to make a daily difference for children in grades K5. Youll work within a collaborative educational setting, providing essential speech and language services to empower students to reach their fullest potential. With a flexible start and commitment through the remainder of the school year, both full-time (37.5 hours/week) and part-time candidates are encouraged to explore this rewarding role.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility as an SLP in the state
  • Previous experience with elementary-aged students (K5) in a school setting preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with students, educators, and families
  • Ability to design and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and evaluate student progress

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and deliver evidence-based speech and language therapy
  • Develop and update IEPs, maintaining compliance with state and federal guidelines
  • Support and consult with teachers and families to maximize student outcomes
  • Document student progress, adapt interventions, and participate in IEP meetings
