Key Qualifications:
- Active and valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in Michigan
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (ASHA-CCC)
- Experience delivering services in school environments across multiple grade levels (early childhood through high school)
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach within multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to adapt interventions and strategies for diverse student needs
Role Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students to identify speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Create and implement individualized treatment plans to address identified needs
- Provide direct therapy services, both individually and in group settings
- Develop and maintain accurate documentation on student progress and therapy outcomes
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support students academic and social success
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to student support teams
